1. Do not use the working device to load or unload the machine. Doing so may cause the excavator’s Orange Peel Grapple to fall or tilt.
2. Orange Peel Grapples should only be used for loading and unloading on solid and level ground. Maintain a safe distance from roads or cliff edges.
3. For machines equipped with automatic deceleration devices, make sure to turn off the automatic deceleration switch. Operating the excavator’s Orange Peel Grapple with the automatic deceleration system on may pose risks such as sudden engine speed increase, sudden machine movement, or increased machine travel speed.
4. Always use ramps with sufficient strength. Ensure that the width, length, and thickness of the ramps are sufficient to provide a safe loading and unloading slope. Take measures to prevent the ramps from shifting or falling off.
5. When on the ramp, do not operate any control lever other than the travel control lever. Do not correct the direction on the ramp. If necessary, drive the machine off the ramp, correct the direction, and then drive onto the ramp again.
6. Run the engine at low idle speed and operate the excavator’s Orange Peel Grapple at low speed.
7. When using the Orange Peel Grapple for loading and unloading on embankments or platforms, ensure that they have appropriate width, strength, and slope.
